9. Before you start, check that there is enough room for the bit under the
workpiece.
10. Do not touch the bit after use. It will be very hot.
11. Keep your hands away from under the workpiece.
12. Never use your hands to remove dust, chips or debris near the bit.
13. Rags, cloths, ropes and the like must never be left around the work area.
14. Support the work properly.
15. If you are interrupted while operating the tool, end the process and switch it off
before looking up.
16. Check regularly that all nuts, bolts and other fasteners are tight.
17. Use safety equipment, including safety glasses or shields, hearing protection
and protective clothing, including protective gloves, when using the tools.
Wear a dust mask if dust is generated during machining.
18. WARNING
Some substances released during sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other
construction activities contain chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth
defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
-
lead from lead-based paints,
-
crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
-
arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures will vary depending on how often you do this
type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well-
ventilated area and use approved safety equipment, such as dust masks
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
19. Even if the tool is used properly, it is not possible to exclude all residual risk
factors. The following hazards may occur due to the construction and design
of the tool:
• Damage to the lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.
• Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
Intended use
The machine is intended to drill holes in wood, metal. When drill the hole in the steel,
let the machine in low speed (not full speed). So it can improve the drilling efficiency.
And it can be used to tighten and loosen screws, bolts or nuts within the respective
range of dimension.
