9.5 Glass panes
•
Avoid damage when removing/fitting the glass pane.
!Caution
•
Avoid/remove fingerprints on the glass pane(s) as they will burn into the glass.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).

9.5.1 Disassembly of glass panes
9.5.1.1 Disassembly of glass pane in door
To remove the glass pane in the door, please follow the instructions below (see Annex 2, fig. 11):
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Remove the door seal.
Ø
Unscrew the nuts under the door seal from the glass strip.
Ø
Remove the glass strips.
Ø
Lift the glass pane out. The pane seal is also taken out.
When replacing the glass pane always replace the glass pane seal in the door (= seal between the glass pane and

the door) AND the door seal (= seal between the door and the fire).
9.5.1.2 Disassembly of side pane
The side pane must be replaced in case of cracks or fractures in the glass pane.
Follow the instructions below:
Ø
Unscrew the Allen screws (see Annex 2, fig. 12). This action should also be executed when cleaning the side pane.
Ø
Now follow the steps described in paragraph 9.5.1.1 'Disassembly of glass pane in door'.
