9.2 Outside air connection and air slide valve
9.2.1 Outside air connection
The fire is made with an outside air connection. This outside air connection is supplied separately.
Assembly always takes place at the bottom of the appliance.
When mounting the outside air connection, please proceed as follows (see Annex 2, fig. 4):
Ø
Loosen the 5 bolts that are pre-mounted on the outside air connection.
Ø
Bring the outside air connection against the plate on the bottom of the appliance.

can be fed from the back or the bottom.
9.2.2 Air slide valve
When installing and maintaining the appliance, please check the operation of the air slide valve
(see Annex 2, fig. 5). It is possible that steel grit entered the air slide valve during transport. If the air slide valve
does not move smoothly it must be cleaned. For this purpose, the air slide valve must be disassembled.
The suspended air slide valve is spring-mounted using a bolt and a spring, which are located below the cover
plate.
When mounting the air slide valve, please proceed as follows (see Annex 2, fig. 5):
Ø
Remove the vermiculite plates from the bottom (see section 9.3.1).

In order to replace the air slide valve, proceed as described for removal, only in reverse order.
