CLEANING
Removing the oven door
N
4. You will hear 2 beeps once the cleaning programme is finished.
5. Turn the oven function knob to the o position.
6. Remove grease, grime and any water left behind with a damp cloth.
• Please note: Do not open the oven door until the cleaning
programme is completely finished. The cooling phase is required for
a proper cleaning function.
• Only use the cleaning function on low temperatures.
• Residues can be removed easily with a damp cloth after the
cleaning programme is finished.
• The cooling time may vary depending on the ambient temperature.
• After the cleaning programme is finished, always first check
whether the oven has cooled enough before starting to clean.
Cleaning a baking tray using the cleaning function
If the baking tray is seriously grimy, it can also be cleaned using the
cleaning function.
1. Place the baking tray to be cleaned in the middle of the oven.
2. Pour 300 ml of water in the baking tray.
3. Turn the oven function knob to the cleaning function.
You will hear 3 beeps and the cleaning programme will begin.
Please note: Use dishwashing detergent if the oven is seriously grimy.
You can also add a few drops of dishwashing detergent to the water
(when using the cleaning programme).
Some food products can discolour the enamel (tomatoes, vinegar, very
salty roasted dishes, etc.). This is normal and cannot be prevented!
To clean the inside of the oven better you can remove the oven door.
• Open the oven door fully and turn the pawls (N) back as far as they
will go.
• Then close the door slowly so the pawls end up in the holder.
At approximately 15° (relative to the closed door position) lift the
door slightly upwards and lift it out of the two hinge holders.
