PREPARING THE INGREDIENTS

Important: Only use fruits that are well ripened, otherwise the sieve may clog up. This
would necessitate repeated cleaning of the screen.
Wash or peel the fruits or vegetables you want to process.
Large stones or stones should always be removed from the fruit before filling.
Pome fruits (such as apple, pears) can be processed with peel and core. Remove other
stones (peaches, plums) and all large stones (melons, etc.) and stems to prevent
damage to the appliance.
Thick-skinned fruits (e.g. citrus fruits, melons, kiwis, turnips) should always be peeled first.
With grapes, the main stem must be cut off.
If necessary, cut fruit or vegetables into pieces small enough to fit through the feed
tube.
Cut stringy ingredients (e.g. celery) into approx. 3 - 5 cm long and 1.5 - 2 cm wide
pieces.
