These instructions provide important information for the safety,
installation, use and maintenance of the units. Therefore, please
read the information given in these instructions carefully and
keep them for any queries at a later date.
The manufacturer is not liable if the following instructions are
not observed. The units must not be misused, i.e. used contrary
to their intended use.
The packaging of your high-quality infrared heater consists of
recyclable materials.
Overheating and overload protection
The ETHERMA infrared stand panel has an overheating protec-
tion which is triggered at 125 °C. The unit automatically resu-

ATTENTION: Any kind of stress on the surface,
whether caused by leaning on people or objects or

WARNING: Hot surfaces on the unit can cause
burns. Switch off the appliance and allow it to cool
down before carrying out any maintenance or ser-
vice work.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried out by children without su-
pervision.
The heater must not be used if the surface is damaged. To pre-
vent the appliance from overheating, do not cover the heater.
Children younger than 3 years must be kept away unless they
are supervised at all times. Children aged 3 years and under
8 years should not turn the appliance on or off unless they are
supervised or have been given supervision or instruction con-
cerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved, provided that the appliance is placed or ins-
talled in its intended position for use. Children aged 3 years and
younger than 8 years are not allowed to insert the plug into the
socket, regulate the appliance, clean the appliance and/or carry
out maintenance.
The appliance may only be put into operation when assembled.
This heater must not be used in the immediate vicinity of a ba-
thtub, shower or swimming pool. When installed in bathrooms,
the unit must be positioned so that switches and other controls
cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower. The heater
must not be used in small rooms occupied by persons who can-
not leave the room independently, unless constant supervision
is ensured.
Some parts of the product may become very hot and cause
burns. Special care should be taken when children and vulnera-
ble persons are present.
ATTENTION: The surface of the infrared heater may
discolour due to environmental influences such as
direct sunlight, high smoke exposure, open fires,
etc. The colour of the infrared heater must not be
changed..
WARNUNG: WARNING: Covering the surface cau-
ses a risk of overheating! Even local covering of the
front, e.g. with a towel, can lead to overheating and
damage to the heating element.
WARNING: The infrared heater must not be used if
the front is damaged.
