Charging via ' battery DC input'
As soon as there is voltage (10~15Vdc) on the D+ connection, the charging
converter will come into operation. This will be when the engine is running or
the key switch is in the 'on' position. If the D+ is present, the display will show
'priority'. A connection between the alternator symbol and battery appears at
the bottom of the display as an indication that the charging process is in
progress. The corresponding values can also be read. See chapter 'display'.
Charging via the ' battery input' always has priority over charging via the ' solar
input'. When the engine is running, the second battery will therefore always be
charged via the alternator. If the motor is off, the load will automatically switch
to the ' solar input' (if connected).
