S E T T I N G S
The factory settings can be adjusted if necessary via the settings menu.
Please read the information below carefully before putting the charging
converter into setup mode.
The setup consists of 4 parts:
1: determining the undervoltage (battery monitoring battery DC input)
2: determining the restart voltage (after DC input undervoltage)
3: determining the charging current
4: determining the charging profile
Charging profiles
The charging converter contains 5 charging profiles:
AGM/WET/GEL/LI/ Custom program.
The
corresponding
specifications in the appendix at the back of this manual.
In the charging profiles 'LI' (lithium) or ' Custom program', the main charging
voltage and the trickle charging voltage can be personalized.
When charging a lithium/LiFePO4 battery, the 'LI' setting should always be
selected. This setting may not be used for a lead battery.
The ' Custom program' setting, on the other hand, is only suitable for lead
batteries.
The converter is factory set to 'WET'.
Important
The default charging profiles are only a guideline. Select the most suitable
charging profile or charging setting based on the charging instructions for
the relevant battery. Never set the charging voltage at your own discretion.
Setting up the charging converter
To activate the setting mode, the ' battery DC input' must be connected.
Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 5 seconds.
