8. Maintenance
The Cloner grow box requires little maintenance under normal use.
a. Replace the filter after 1 year. The active carbon parts, under normal conditions, lose their effect after 1 year.
b. Replace the pre-filter more often than 1 x per year if the cabinet is placed in an environment with a lot of fine
dust.
c. Clean the drip trays, pump and water tank with a disinfectant. This prevents pests and diseases.

What is the power consumption of a cabinet?
A G-cloner consumes about Euro 40,- per month in electricity.
The cabinet gets too hot, what to do?
Under normal circumstances, a G-cloner is 5 to 6 degrees warmer than the ambient temperature. Make sure the
cabinet is not placed in the sun, in front of a heater, etc. Also make sure that the temperature is measured in the
shade so that the radiant heat of the lamps is not measured. The cabinet blows its warm air into the room where it
is placed, to get rid of the heat you can leave a window ajar.
Can a G-cloner be placed in a storage room or shed?
Yes, no problem. Be careful about access to fresh air and too low temperatures in winter.
Is a fire extinguisher necessary?
A G-cloner is a fireproof cabinet. Made of non-flammable materials (fire class B1), with a safe fused electrical
installation in which only CE-approved materials are used.
