Hill-Rom voert beoordelingen uit en biedt gebruikers richtlijnen voor het veilig hanteren en afvoeren van de apparatuur
om letsel te voorkomen, zoals (maar niet beperkt tot) snijwonden, doorboring van de huid en schaafwonden, en voor
de vereiste reiniging en desinfectie van het medische hulpmiddel na gebruik en voorafgaand aan het afvoeren. Klanten
moeten zich houden aan alle federale, landelijke, regionale en/of lokale wetten en voorschriften zoals deze gelden voor het
veilig afvoeren van medische hulpmiddelen en accessoires.
In geval van twijfel dient de gebruiker van het hulpmiddel eerst contact op te nemen met de technische ondersteuning van
Hill-Rom voor advies over protocollen over veilig afvoeren.
