CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always pull the plug from the electric socket 昀椀rst and wait until the oil has cooled o昀昀 completely

Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents. Never use sharp objects to remove dirt.

Pour the oil out of the reservoir and clean the inside with kitchen paper. Use a damp cloth for the
outside of the appliance. Dispose of the waste oil at a waste disposal unit for oil.
The oil reservoir, the lid and the basket can be cleaned in warm water with washing up liquid.

Thoroughly dry the parts. The outside casing should only be cleaned with a cloth. Replace the 昀椀lter
in the lid after each cleaning.

Never immerse the control panel in water.

Assemble the appliance after cleaning. Make sure that the control panel is correctly placed;
otherwise your appliance will not work.

There is a safety feature in the recess for
the cord storage. If the oil in the appliance
becomes too hot, this safety will be activated.
This means that the device will turn itself o昀昀.
Allow the appliance to cool and then press this
button again to reset the appliance. It will then
be possible to use the fryer again.

The safety switch on the sliding brackets
has not been pressed in. The control panel
with heating element has not been correctly
mounted onto the sliding brackets, or the
basket is not correctly seated. Check the fryer
is correctly mounted.
The oil has gone o昀昀 or expired. Change the
·
oil. Check the oil packaging for its maximum
usage life, or reuse it a maximum of 10 times.

The thermostat is set too high. Select a lower
temperature.

There are too many ice crystals or too much
water in the oil. Remove any excess ice
from frozen food before dropping in the oil.
Thoroughly pat dry freshly cut potato fries
after rinsing.
