TROUBLESHOOTING

Mechanical parts:

Adjusting the lower parts of the pliers
If you do not fix the base to the rail, it must be adjusted. To do this,
proceed as follows:
1.
Position the lower part of the pliers vertically to the rail.
2.
Insert a 3mm Allen key into the hole provided as shown.
3.
If the lower part of the pliers cannot be easily pushed onto the rail, turn the Allen key slightly to the left. If the lower part of the
pliers cannot be fixed in place, turn the Allen key slightly to the right
4.
Do not use too much force!
5.
If the lower part of the pliers cannot be moved at all, move the lever to the middle position. If there is too much play in the
lever, turn the screw slightly to the right. If the clearance is too small, turn it to the left.
6.
Then remove the Allen key and try to fix the lower part of the pliers on the rail. If this is not possible, repeat the process.
Adjustment of the quick release and regular maintenance work
Adjusting the quick release - only if necessary
The quick release can be adjusted to the appropriate string thickness. To do this, please turn the small screw (see picture). If you
turn it clockwise, the jaws will narrow.
Adjustment screw: Already inserted in the
quick-release mechanism at the factory and
screwed deep into the thread (therefore not
visible!)
