1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions
or to draw your attention to specific hazards
and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional
information or important notes.
Risk of electric shock
This symbol indicates product parts energized
with a dangerous voltage of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock.

3. Safety instructions
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to
any major shocks.
• Do not operate the product outside the power
limits given in the specifications.
• Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.
• Use the product only for the intended purpose.
• As with all electrical products, this device should
be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Keep the packaging in a safe place for future
reference. It contains important information.
• The product is intended only for use inside
buildings.
• Only use the article under moderate climatic
conditions.
• Do not use the product in areas in which electronic
products are not permitted.
• Do not use the product in a damp environment
and avoid splashing water.
• Do not plug in one after the other.
• Do not plug in any plug-in devices.

4. Operation
Warning - travel plug
• Before connecting a device, check whether
it is suitable for the voltage/mains frequency
available in the country.
• Ensure when plugging in and out that you do
not come into contact with the plug contacts.
• Do not operate the product continuously, as it is
not designed for this.
• Do not continue to operate the product if it is
visibly damaged.
• Do not use the product with multiple sockets or
intermediate plugs.
Warning
• The product is not designed for operation
with other adapters.
Note
• The values for the maximum rated current and
the maximum power can be taken from Table 2.
• This product is designed for use in the
respective countries with the corresponding
plug and coupling types as shown in tables 1
and on the packaging.
• The assignment is made via the article number,
which can be found on the product or the
packaging.
Warning
• Only operate the product from a socket that has
been approved for the device. The socket must
be installed close to the product and must be
easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply
using the On/Off switch – if this is not available,
unplug the power cord from the socket.
5. Care and maintenance
Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before
cleaning and during prolonged periods of
non-use.
• Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly
damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
• Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
