Charge the battery as described in the section Charging the integrated
battery.
Charging the integrated battery

Only charge the appliance indoors in dry locations away from water. For
example, do not charge the appliance next to or above a sink filled with
water.
NOTE
The USB charging cable 9 and connection socket 7 are used only to

charge the integrated battery. They are not suitable for data transmission.

Only charge the appliance with a USB power adapter with protection class
II that is approved for use with household appliances and has an output
voltage of 5 V
Use only the supplied USB charging cable 9 to charge the integrated
►
battery. Disconnect the USB charging cable 9 from the appliance when
charging is complete.

The operating time with a fully charged battery is about 2.5 to 4 hours,
depending on the selected intensity level.

The appliance cannot be operated during charging. If you switch on the
appliance during charging,
1) Make sure that the appliance is switched off.
2) Insert the USB plug 8 into the USB connection socket 7 on the underside
of the handle 5:
3) Connect the USB charging cable 9 to a suitable mains adapter and plug
the mains adapter into a mains socket.
When the ring display 6 lights up green, the appliance is fully charged.
The ring display 6 has the following meanings:
Ring display 6
Lights up red
Flashes green
Lights up green
4) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and unplug the USB charg-
ing cable 9 from the appliance.
