ASC: Automatic speed control (digital load equalizing
control):
The electronics register the pressure on the grinding head during
grinding and balances out the loss of speed. You always have
access to the maximal force.

OPC: Overload protection control:
If the grinding head is blocked or stopped for too long, the
electronics register this and switch the unit onto a lower, safer
performance level. However, you should not keep the unit in this
state for a long period of time as this may damage the electronics.
