Before you switch the unit on, you must set the rotating speed
(rotary knob (E)) to zero.
The power plug is intended as a separator. Make sure that the
power plug is plugged into an easily reachable wall socket.
A. Before operating this unit, please ensure that the voltage
specified on the unit corresponds to the local line voltage.
Plug the power plug into the wall socket and the other end of
the power cord, found on the left-hand side of the unit, into its
designated socket (A).
B. Plug the handpiece's plug into the socket (B) on the right-
hand side of the unit.
C. Position the rotation direction switch on "Standby" before
using the grinding head. Select a suitable grinding head.
Open the chuck (C) by rotating it counterclockwise. Insert the
grinding head into its holder at the front of the handpiece.

D. Push the toggle switch labeled "Power" (D) onto the "ON"
clockwise. Never use force to remove or insert a grinding
head! Grinding heads with a shaft diameter of 2.32 mm to
2.35 mm (0.091 to 0.093 inches) fit exactly into the grinding
head holder without you having to use excessive force. To
remove the grinding head, please switch the unit off. Rotate
the chuck in an anti-clockwise direction and remove the
grinding head.
