Read the instructions before using the appliance. Failure to follow the safety instructions in this user manual may result
in serious bodily injury or death or in a fire or an explosion causing damage to property.
∙ USE OUTDOORS ONLY. NEVER USE INDOORS.
∙ Only use the appliance in a well ventilated area. Gas is
odourless and can be fatal in enclosed spaces. Do not use
it in a garage, porch, covered patio or under an overhead
structure of any kind.
∙ The appliance is not intended to be installed in or on rec-
reational vehicles and/or boats.
∙ Set up the appliance on a level, stable, heat resistant and
clean surface above the level of the valve of the gas cylin-
der.
∙ The appliance must not protude beyond the platform.
∙ No combustible materials are allowed within a distance of
3 m around the appliance (e.g. awnings, wooden terraces
or furniture).
∙ Keep the cooking area (3 meters around the appliance)
clear of sources of ignition such as pilot lights on water
heaters, live electrical appliances, etc. and flammable va-
pours/liquids such as gasoline, alcohol, etc.
∙ Do not put anything flammable on the appliance.
∙ Do not move the appliance during use.
∙ WARNING: Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young
children away.
∙ The appliance should never be used by children. This appli-
ance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge. They must be instruct-
ed concerning the risks connected with the appliance and
supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
∙ Keep a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit at hand.
∙ Use a long-handled heat resistant pizza peel.
∙ Use protective gloves when handling hot components.
∙ Do not wear clothing with wide sleeves.
∙ Do not store a spare or disconnected gas cylinder under or
near the appliance.
∙ Improper assembly may be dangerous. Please follow the
assembly instructions carefully.
∙ Do not connect the appliance to the natural gas network
(city gas network)! The valves and the nozzles are de-
signed exclusively for liquid propane gas.
∙ Liquid propane is not a natural gas. The conversion or at-
tempted use of natural gas in a liquid propane unit or liquid
gas in a natural gas unit is dangerous and will void the
warranty.
∙ After a period of storage and/or non-use, the appliance
should be checked for gas leaks and burner obstructions
before use.
∙ Do not operate the appliance if there is a gas leak present.
∙ In the event of a gas leak, turn off the gas supply.
∙ Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after use.
∙ Do not use a flame to detect gas leaks.
∙ This appliance must be kept away from flammable materi-
als during use.
∙ Do not close the oven with aluminium foil or any other
material. This will block burner ventilation and create a
potentially dangerous condition resulting in property dam-
age and/or personal injury.
∙ Should the burners go out while in operation, turn all gas
valves off. Wait five minutes before attempting to relight.
Follow the igniting instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
∙ Always turn off gas at the gas cylinder and disconnect the
pressure regulator before moving the gas cylinder from its
specified operating position.
∙ Never operate the appliance with gas cylinder out of the
correct position specified.
∙ Keep any electrical supply cord, gas and fuel supply hose
away from any heated surfaces.
∙ Do not use the appliance unless all parts are in place. The
appliance must be properly assembled according to the
assembly instructions.
∙ Check screws and tighten if necessary before use to en-
sure stability.
∙ Do not modify the appliance. Any sort of modification is
strictly prohibited. Sealed parts are not to be manipulated
by the user. Do not disassemble injectors.
∙ Do not use charcoal, ceramic briquets or lava rocks in the
appliance.
∙ Flammable liquids may cause flash flames or deflagra-
tions. Never use ignition liquids (e.g. petrol or spirit).
∙ Keep ventilation openings free and clear of debris.
∙ Do not enlarge or block valve orifices or burner ports when
cleaning the valves or burners.
∙ Check burner flames regularly.
∙ The appliance should be thoroughly cleaned on a regular
basis.
∙ Do not store objects or materials in the storage area under
the appliance, that would block the flow of combustion air
to the underside of the control panel and the firebox.
∙ Changing the gas cylinder shall be carried out away from
any source of ignition.
∙ Only use the pressure regulator and hose assembly that
is supplied with the appliance or compatible regulators,
which you can obtain after consulting your HORNBACH
store.
∙ The hose of the gas hose assembly must not be bent and
must not be longer than 1.5 meters. The hose should not
be twisted or kinked when attached to the gas cylinder.
∙ Only use gas cylinders of a diameter up to 310 mm and
maximum height of 600 mm with 5 - 13 kg of liquid pro-
pane gas.
∙ Do not attempt to disconnect the pressure regulator and
hose assembly or any gas fitting while the appliance is in
operation or still hot.
∙ Do not use a damaged gas cylinder. A dented or rusty gas
cylinder or a gas cylinder with a damaged valve may be
hazardous and should be replaced with a new one imme-
diately.
∙ Although the gas cylinder may appear to be empty, gas
may still be present and the cylinder should be transport-
ed and stored accordingly.
∙ The appliance and its parts have sharp edges. Wear pro-
tective gloves during setup and use.
∙ Take reasonable care when using the appliance. The appli-
ance heats up during use and must not be left unattended.
Do not use the appliance, if you are unable to concentrate,
tired, or under the influence, drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of inattention when using the device can cause
severe injury.
