MAINTENANCE
TAKE CARE
All cleaning tasks must be carried out when the griddle is switched off, and when the gas
•
valve is turned off at the source.
After each use, once the griddle is completely cooled-down, it's essential to clean and de-
•
grease the cooking plate and the removable grease tray with warm water and soap, using
a cloth or a non-abrasive sponge.
Clean the grease residue from the diffusors, or the hot plate, after use.
•
MAINTENANCE
HOT PLATE
Use a soapy solution. You may also use white vinegar and a spatula for the more difficult
•
patches, rinse with water afterwards.
Deposits that form within the griddle that look like peeling paint are carbonized grease.
•
These can be effectively cleaned off using a soapy solution, with warm water, followed by
rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Then leave to dry completely.
Internal cleaning of the hot plate (Pirolisis): leave the griddle lit with a strong flame, keep the
•
hood open, and do this after each use to burn the grease and other residues left by the food.
BOTTOM OF THE TANK
Use a soapy solution to clean. You can use tepid white vinegar for more difficult patches,
•
and rinse well with water afterwards. Then leave to dry completely.
