In addition to WPA, the device also supports the older method WEP
(Wired Equivalent Privacy). WEP is only necessary if not all the client
computers in the wireless LAN can use the WPA method.
NOTE

Note that the WEP method is no longer considered secure
today. It cannot be ruled out that data encrypted with WEP could
be read and manipulated by unauthorised third parties. We
therefore urgently recommend that WEP is avoided and that
only the secure WPA method is used for encryption.
Setting of the AP encryption
Proceed as follows:
On the home page, click the button "General Setup" and then
select "Wireless" in the menu on the left.
Under basic settings, select "AP" mode.
Then select "Security settings" in the menu on the left.
The following encryption methods are available:

WEP encryption with 64 bit and 128 bit
■
WPA PSK (Pre-Shared Key) encryption
■
WPA Radius encryption
WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption
