TV 401/301/21 NSF Controller Installation
The 969-8979M005 controller can not be mounted on bottom of the
pump, like the standard controller, because it is not supplied with
the plastic pads for snap mounting. It can be mounted on any flat
surface by means of the three threaded holes on the controller casing
(see controller outline drawing).
Connection of the Fore Vacuum Pump
A KF 16 flange is available to connect the TV 401/301/21 NSF pump
to the fore-vacuum pump. A vacuum approved pipe can be used. If a
rigid pipe is used, any vibration generated by the mechanical pump
must be eliminated through the use of bellows.
The TV 401/301/21 NSF pump is characterized by its high compression ratio
NOTE
also for oil vapors. When using a mechanical oil-sealed pump, it is advisable to
install a suitable trap between the turbopump and the fore-vacuum pump in
order to prevent oil backstreaming.
