IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• If the appliance or the power cord shows any
signs of damage, do not operate it! Take the
product to an authorized and qualified service
center for inspection or repair.
• Ensure the appliance is turned off and
disconnected from power source before filling it
with water.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when
plugged into a power outlet.
• This appliance heats up during use. To avoid
burns, do not touch hot surfaces.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power
source before draining the water.
• The appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance
and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years.

The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the first time and
keep them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specified in this
manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the
power source, check if the voltage indicated
on the appliance corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance.
• If the appliance is grounded (protection
class I), the wall outlet and any extension to
which it is connected must also be grounded.
• To avoid overloading the electrical circuit, do
not operate another high power consuming
appliance on the same circuit.
• Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
• Do not use the product near gas sources or
other flammable materials or objects.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
• The power outlet must be easily accessible
at all times to ensure that the unit can be
quickly disconnected from the mains.
• Make sure the appliance is switched off
before plugging in or unplugging the device.
• Do not operate the product without water in
it.
• This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• This appliance produces hot steam during
use. Do not point it at people or animals and
do not iron clothes on the body to avoid
burns.
• Avoid contact with hot steam during or right
after operation. Risk of scalding!
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
• As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Allow the appliance to cool down fully
before cleaning and storing it.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the appliance is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on
the unit must only be done by authorised
specialist personnel!

GENERAL NOTICE
When you use the steam brush for the first time,
there may be a slight emission of smoke, noise
or odor. This is normal and will disappear after
a short time. We recommend using the steam
brush on an older piece of fabric first.
CHOICE OF WATER
If the water in your region is particularly hard,
use distilled or demineralized water. Do not use
chemically descaled water or other liquids for
filling. Do not use chemical additives, fragrances
or descalers as this may damage the product
and void your warranty.
USE
1. Always unplug the appliance from the mains
before filling or emptying it with water.
2. Hold the steam brush by the handle and
remove the water tank by turning it to the
unlock position. Open the water inlet cover
and fill water into the tank. Make sure that
you fill the tank at least with 1/3 of the
maximum amount of water. Then put the
tank back in place.
3. Hold the handle of the steam brush with one
hand and install the additional cloth brush
or bristle brush on the steam head with the
other hand. A clicking sound can be heard
when the brush attachment snaps in place.
4. Connect the appliance to the mains. The
indicator light flashes a few times and then
turns red, indicating that the appliance is
in standby. If you now press the function
button, the steam indicator light flashes and
the appliance heats up. When the steam
