3E3183 Gallagher HR5 Hand Held EID Tag Reader User Manual
SYNCHRONISING DATA
Data captured in sessions on the HR5 can be transferred to the
Gallagher Animal Performance (GAP) App to be viewed and edited.
Data can also be transferred to your mobile phone or transferred
from your mobile phone to the HR5.
The Bluetooth function on your HR5 reader must be activated so
the HR5 is discoverable to other devices, like your mobile phone.
1. Open the Gallagher Animal Performance App on your mobile.

Select
Υ A picture of the HR5 Reader (within range) will be
displayed, tap on it to connect.
Note: If you have more than one HR5, the correct device
can be verified by checking the unique serial number.
2. You can do a selective transfer of sessions to your mobile
phone from the HR5 or transfer Draft/Sort Lists, traits, life data
or activities to the HR5. Sessions captured on the HR5 can also
be sent by email on behalf of a user who may not have a GAP
cloud account.
Υ Select the method to transfer your data.
Υ Transfer to phone - select
the sessions to be transferred
and press the
button. Sessions will be
copied from HR5 to the App
on your phone. Sessions
already transferred are
displayed with the HR icon on
the session list.
Υ Transfer to HR - Select the
type of data to be transferred.
You can choose to send
Sessions, Draft (Sort) lists and
Animal Data.
Select the check boxes of the data to transfer or Select
All and press the
repeat this step if you wish to transfer more than 1 type
of data.
Υ Share Session(s) - Using the GAP App as an
intermediary device for collecting data, this enables
a third party (Agent, Territory Manager, etc) to email
sessions on behalf of the HR user, to any email address.
