Specied Conditions Of Use
The lawn edger is designed to look ater domestic areas
o grass and lawn. Due to the physical danger to the user
and other persons, the appliance may not be used or
other purposes.
Do not use this product in any other way as stated or
normal use. Not observing general regulations in orce
and instructions rom this manual does not make the
manuacturer liable or damages.
The appliance must not be used for cutting
bushes, hedges and thickets, for cutting and
mulching creepers or lawns on roofs or in
balcony boxes. The mower must also not be used
as a crusher for mulching tree cuttings and
hedges or levelling any terrain roughness.
Requirements for operating sta
The operating sta must careully read the Operating In-
structions beore using the appliance.
Qualication: Apart rom the detailed instructions
by a proessional, no special qualication is necessary
or appliance using.
Minimum age: Persons over 18 years o age can only
work on the appliance. An exception includes young-
sters trained in order to reach knowledge under supervi-
sion o the trainer during occupational education.

Operation is only allowed with a safety
switch against stray current (RCD max. stray
current of 30mA).
Rotating blades may lead to serious injuries
by cutting or amputating parts of the body.
Never touch under the housing body when the
engine is running. Wear protective shoes.
Thrown-o stones or soil may lead to
injuries.
Beore mowing, check the area to be mowed or
any undesirable objects.
Poor lighting/light conditions represent a
high safety risk.
Provide adequate lighting or good lighting
conditions when working with the machine.
Emergency procedure
Danger of injury !
Never put your hands and eet near the rotating
parts. Keep a distance rom the ejection opening at
all times.
Conduct a rst-aid procedure adequate to the injury
and summon qualied medical attendance as quickly as
possible. Protect the injured person rom urther harm
and calm them down. For the sake o eventual accident,
in accordance with DIN 13164, a workplace has to be
tted with a rst-aid kit. It is essential to replace any
used material in the rst-aid kit immediately ater it has
been used. I you seek help, state the ollowing pieces
o inormation:
