Never put the appliance into operation without inserting the filters first!
10. Before putting the appliance into storage for a prolonged period, complete
the following steps.
11. Make sure there is no more condensation in the water tank.
12. Before putting it into storage, let the appliance run in Ventilator mode for
half an hour. This will allow the interior of the appliance to dry completely.
13. Clean the filters as described above and place them back into the appliance.
14. Remove the battery from the remote control.
15. Remove the exhaust hose.

Remedy
ƒ Check if the safety switch has been
activated or if a fuse has been tripped.
ƒ Fuse (3.15 A/250 V AC) in the appliance
defective; contact our customer service
department.
ƒ Wait for 3 minutes before switching the
appliance back on.
ƒ Battery of the remote control drained?
ƒ Has the plug been inserted properly?
ƒ The target temperature is too close to the
current room temperature
ƒ The air outlet is blocked.
ƒ Close windows and doors
ƒ Switch off other sources of heat such as
lamps or heaters
ƒ Clean the filter.
ƒ Make sure air inlet and air outlet are not
blocked.
ƒ The target temperature is too high
