IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please carefully read this manual before operating the appliance and keep it for future reference.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended. Keep children and pets away from the appliance at all times.
• Keep appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapours
and liquids.
• Never move the appliance while in operation or still hot.
• Always switch off and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, before moving or
cleaning.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• When using the appliance, please make sure that adequate air space is provided above and on all sides of
the appliance for circulation.
• Place the appliance on a flat surface and ensure a minimum of 10cm free space around it when in use.
• Extreme caution must be paid when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
• When grilling, flare-ups from fats and juice drippings can occur, so be sure to monitor food closely so it
does not burn.
• Never lean over the cooking area while the appliance is turned on.
