Wireless Hand Control
1 Introduction
This manual belongs to an Invacare accessory and is an
addition to the manuals of the related Invacare product.
To ensure safety when using this accessory, read the user
manual of the related product carefully and follow the safety
instructions.
For further information see the user manual of the related
product.
2 General information
The wireless hand control is a secondary hand control, to be
used in combination with a tethered hand control. A tethered
hand control is required for more advanced functions, like
locking or unlocking functions and resetting the system.
The system consists of:

1x Wireless hand control
•
1x Receiver
3 Installing the Wireless Hand Control
Mounting the receiver
1x 4 mm Allen key, 1x 8 mm Wrench

1. Place the mounting bracket of the receiver over the
square tube of the mattress support platform.
2. Fix the receiver with the bolt and nut.

On the control unit turn the lock 90 degrees
counter-clockwise to open the lid and remove it.

Disconnect the cable of the tethered hand control from
the control unit.
3.
Connect the cable from the receiver to the control unit
in the socket labeled with hand control symbol.
4.
Put the lid back on the control unit and close it by
turning the lock 90 degrees clockwise.
5.
Connect the cable of the tethered hand control to the
receiver.
4 Pairing
(optional)
If the wireless hand control and the receiver are
delivered as a set, a initial pairing is not required.
Pairing is only required for a changed combination
of wireless hand control and receiver or if the
connection is lost.
