Descaling
Limescale deposits in the heating bowl may have an
adverse effect on the efficiency of the device. It could
also switch off prematurely if the layer of limescale
is too thick. Limescale deposits should therefore be
removed with a standard descaling agent depending
on how often the device is used.
For descaling follow the instructions on the packag-
ing or the package leaflet of the descaling agent.
After descaling, wipe down the heating bowl thor-
oughly and perform one boiling process with the
device using just water and no egg.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check whether
you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the
problem cannot be solved with the steps that are
listed, contact the customer service department.
The device switches off prematurely after a
short time.
The device has been switched on without water or
with too little water. The dry- running protection has
been activated.
