Step 5
Remove all stickers and packaging materials from the barbecue.
Congratulations! Your barbecue is now fully assembled. To continue, please read
the paragraph titled "requirements for the connection and the operation of the gas"
before attempting to connect the gas bottle or to fire up your barbecue.
Spit motor
The spit motor must be
mounted on the support on the
lefthand side of the barbecue.
Slide one of the meat forks
onto the spit, fasten the food
onto the spit, and then slide the
second meat fork on to the spit
(tooth in the direction of the
food). Position the food that is
to be roasted in the middle of the spit and press the meat forks firmly toward each
other. Fasten the wing screws. It may be necessary to tie the food with kitchen twine
(never use nylon or synthetic string) to keep the food supplies together. Once the
food is properly secured, put the pointed end of the spit into the motor and place the
other end on the support on the righthand side of the barbecue.
Always connect the plug to an earthed socket. When you press the button on the
spit motor, the motor will start to turn. Remove the motor in the event of rain.
