Updating the rmware
Select this symbol and then press the
rmware on the device and to update it if necessary. If you have registered your vario
DIGITAL FHD, you will be noti ed about any available rmware updates.
To update the rmware please proceed as follows:
1. Connect the vario DIGITAL FHD to a PC using the provided USB cable. Ensure that
the SD card is inserted in the card slot .
2. Turn the vario DIGITAL FHD on. The contents of the SD card will now be displayed
on the PC as the "ESCHENBACH" drive.
3. Now open the web address that was provided to you in the email about the rm-
ware update using the connected PC.
4. Download the rmware update and save it directly on the drive - not in a drive
subfolder.
5. Disconnect the vario DIGITAL FHD from the PC using the "Unplug and eject hard-
ware" function, whose symbol you can nd on your operating system taskbar.
