us your telephone number, in case we need to contact you. To prevent shipping damage, provide suitable transport
packaging (e.g. original packaging with a secondary shipping box).
5. The Manufacturer's Warranty excludes damage caused by mishandling, operating errors, misuse, external
influences, lightning strikes/power surges, modifications to the product and extensions. Also excluded are wearing
parts (e.g. batteries, fuses, rechargeable batteries and memory cards) and damage caused by wearing parts (e.g. if
batteries go flat). Shipping damage, consequential damage, and costs arising from down times and travel times are
also excluded.
6. The warranty is cancelled if repairs are carried out by unauthorised agents.
Initial Commissioning
Connect the phone as shown in the figure under Connection.
Initial setup as a system phone
Requirements:
• An internal number is configured on the PBX
In the Setup Assistant, select: With PBX and System phone. Then follow the
instructions on the display.
Note: The username is the internal number configured on the PBX. The
password is the password of the internal number.
Initial setup with a VoIP provider
Requirements:
• Account configured at a VoIP provider and knowledge of the access data
In the Setup Assistant, select: With provider profile and the profile of the
VoIP provider. Then follow the instructions on the display.
Note: You can also make the optional VLAN settings.
Configuration via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
• PC with this min. screen resolution: 1024 x 768
• Recommended browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome (current
version in each case)
• For admin rights when operating as a system phone: Knowledge of
admin user name and admin password of the PBX.
