Replacing batteries
To replace the batteries, open the battery cover and insert new batteries (2x AA 1.5V). Respect the correct polarity (+/-).
The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended.

3.3 Pairing RCE with IHC
To connect the RCE to the IHC, the process must first be initiated on the IHC.
Access the settings menu, by pressing and holding the rotary knob for 3 seconds until „SEt" is displayed, then release.
When the surface temperature limitation is displayed briefly press the rotary knob until "rC" is displayed.
While "rC" is displayed turn the rotary knob. The pairing process starts for 60 s, during this time press any button on the RCE.
After successful pairing, IHC and RCE display "ok" for 5 s and the connection status icon turns on.
