GENERAL INFORMATION
Read the instructions carefully before using the visor; failure to follow the advice
given could reduce the level of safety provided by the visor. The manufacturer
and/or distributor will not accept any responsibility in the event of accidents
leading to injury or even death due to improper use of the visor. This visor must
be used exclusively for the purposes for which it has been certified. This product
has passed the CE certificate for use with safety helmets for overhead, arboreal
and industrial works, certified in compliance with EN 1731 or EN 166.
The visor meets the requirements of ANSI Z87.1.
The visor cannot be used individually but only in combination with the helmet
models ZENITH PL, ZENITH and the product variants ZENITH AIR, ZENITH BA
and ZENITH BA AIR. This product must not be used in situations other than those
it was designed for (e.g. electric risk).
The visor that is the subject of this manual is a Personal Protection Device of
the 2nd category and as such, has undergone CE certification procedure in
accordance with article 10 of the European Directive 89/686/EC and subsequent
amendments.
The notified body Certottica Scrl NB 0530 has carried out the EC certification
process.
REGULATORY INFORMATION
Caution: the mesh protector does not protect against molten metal splashes,
red-hot particles, electrical hazards, infrared radiation and ultraviolet rays. If
marked with the letter S they should not be used in hazardous activities with the
risk of hard or sharp flying particles.
Warning: the devices for protection against high-speed particles worn over
reference ophthalmic glasses, may result in potentially dangerous impacts for
the user.
Caution: the device model ZEN FF protects against high-speed particles at
extreme temperatures and it is characterized by the marking with the letter T
immediately after the impact letter.
If the symbols F, B and A are not common to both the visor and the structure, you
must assign the lower level to the complete eye protector.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
As a protective measure, the visor must be worn at all times during work and
sports activities. For adequate protection, the visor must be fitted correctly to
the helmet to offer maximum safety. The visor must be adjusted to fit the user
and it must be positioned in such a way to minimise the space for the intrusion of
external agents that could damage the eyes.
The protective material covered by this policy consist of hypoallergenic materials.
However, some particularly sensitive users could have allergic reactions. In this
case, it is recommended to discontinue use and, where appropriate, consult your
doctor.
