16 Cleaning the surfaces

Use a moist cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use any aggressive detergents or solvents!
Cause
but the "pH 4" ("pH 7") key has been pressed.
Calibrating solutions are contaminated/too old
pH-electrode soiled
pH-electrode worn out or defective
Electrode cable not connected properly
Electrode cable defective
Measured value outside of measuring range
Problem with CO
supply

Solenoid valve not connected properly or defective
Fuse defective
Controller defective
Remedy
Repeat calibration procedure, beginning with pH 7
Use fresh calibrating solutions, repeat calibration
Clean pH-electrode (see 6.1).
Connect new pH-electrode and calibrate; carry
out additional calibration after 1 week
Check connection
Replace electrode
