The cool control is supplied with a waterproof temperature probe. The LCD display provides instant information
on the current temperature. The set value and fan power (40 - 99%) are also displayed and can be easily
adjusted.

Safety instructions

When working in the aquarium, always disconnect all units from the power supply system before putting your
hands into the water. Connect all units to the mains via a residual current device with a maximum residual
current of 30 mA.

Suitable for indoor use only.

Protect the unit from moisture, splash and condensate.

Regularly clean the fans from dirt and salt deposits.

Not suitable as a toy for children.

Working principle
The rotating fan is mounted on the edge of the aquarium so that a steady stream of air sweeps over the water
surface. This leads to increased evaporation. The resulting evaporative cooling cools the aquarium down by up
to 4 °C.

Set-Up
The fan is put on the aquarium edge and fixed with the Allen screws. It should be fastened in such a way that
the fans blow air over the water surface. The control unit supplied allows the fan speed to be adjusted to the
cooling requirement. Normally, it will be sufficient to operate the fan at a low speed (50 - 80%). During hot
spells, the speed can be increased up to 99%.
