Configuration mode
6.1 Labels
This menu is used to indicate the function associated
with each touch pad.
The label may contain:
- text
- an icon
- text and an icon.

To add a label
• Select Add using the
touch pads.
• Press the touch pad
Select a label.
When all the labels have been assigned, it will be
necessary to Clear an existing label before a new
label can be added.

To select a label
Four labels are accessible (one for each touch pad on
the Room Controller).
The selected label appears in reverse colours (e.g.:
label 1 corresponds to the upper area of the screen).
• Select a label using the
touch pads.
• Press the
confirm.
The screen then displays a request
to enter the text and/or an icon.
• Press the
Enter text.

To enter text
This is done on a telephone type keypad. Each box includes
3 letters, 3 figures or a special function.
Navigation is done by using the
in accordance with the diagram above.
To enter a character:
• Select the corresponding box using the
touch pads.
• Press the
touch pad rapidly once, twice or three
times until the desired character is displayed.
• Proceed in the same way for the following characters.
The purposes of the boxes below are as follows:
- ,.:;!? : displays punctuation characters
- ߣ... : displays special characters
- ±()[] : displays mathematical symbols
- AàÀ : displays upper case and accented characters
- clr
: deletes the last character entered
- spc : inserts a space
- end : completion of text entry
- _ _ >
: displays the Icons table.
The number of characters available is limited. An error
beep indicates that the maximum number of characters
(which varies depending on the menu) has been reached.
