11 Repair
Due to the design, a LIPROTEC component cannot be repaired.
If a component is defective or losing power, you can have it replaced with a new one.
Follow the instructions provided in the chapters entitled "Decommissioning", "Mounting"
and "Commissioning" during this process.
12 Decommissioning, disassembly
Electrical shock is possible in case of improper disassembly.
Disassembly by unauthorised personnel can lead to a deadly electrical shock.
Have the component decommissioned and disassembled by qualified, expert
personnel only.
12.1 Decommissioning
Proceed as follows to safely decommission the LIPROTEC system:
Switch the LIPROTEC system off.
Unplug the power pack's mains plug from the socket.
You can now disassemble the LIPROTEC system's individual components.
12.2 Power pack disassembly
Proceed as follows to disassemble the power pack:
Loosen the housing cover screws next to the "24 V DC" label (see Fig. D, Item 2).
Pull the housing cover up and off (see Fig. D, Item 1).
Loosen the wires of the 24 V connection cable.
Loosen the screws fastening the power pack.
13 Disposal
This product must not be disposed of in domestic waste within the EU. The
recyclable materials contained in old components must be recycled. The
environment and/or human health must not be damaged by unmonitored waste
disposal. Please dispose of old components through suitable collection systems or
send the component to the place where you purchased it for disposal. The
component is then sent to material recycling.
