brightener and fabric softener. In a laundry bag, compression sleeves are specially protected.
In order to reduce the drying period, put the compression sleeve into a terry cloth towel, roll
it up firmly and press the sleeve out (do not wring it out). Do not leave the moist sleeve in
the wet towel. Dry your sleeve in the low cycle of your dryer or simply let it air dry. Never put it in the
sun or onto a radiator to dry.
Do not expose the sleeve to any damaging effects, such as: strong sunlight, intense heat,
ointments, oils and greases, gasoline and aggressive detergents.
Material composition
Please find the exact information on the sewn-in fabric label.
Note: The sewn-in fabric label is an important component of the compression stockings. If you re-
move this labelling from a Thuasne product, any claim for warranty, repair or replacement shall be
waived.
Storage information and duration of use
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. For series products, a maximum shelf life of
36 months applies. This is followed by the duration of use of 6 months for the compression
clothing. The hourglass pictogram shows the duration of use printed on the carton label.
Customised manufacture concerns products for immediate use.
We guarantee the medical efficacy in series sizes and customised manufacture for a maximum
wearing period of six months. This is subject to the correct handling of the sleeves (for example, their
care or putting them on or taking them off). If necessary, your doctor should then prescribe a new
compression sleeve. In case of any significant change of relevant body sizes (e.g. due to a successful
therapy, weight change), new measurements and a new supply may also be justified earlier already.
Disposal
You may dispose of your medical compression sleeves via the residual or household waste. No
special criteria exist for their elimination.
