Battery charging in progress
• F ully charging the battery may take up to 180
minutes.
• A fter the battery is fully charged remove the
charger plug from the outlet and remove the
battery from the charger.
• T he battery can be stored or directly installed
on the machine.
Lithium-Ion cells can be stored for a long
period without losing much of their
charge. When the machine is not being
used over a longer period of time it is
best to store the battery in charged
condition.
Fitting and removing sockets
Always remove the battery before
mounting an accessory.
To mount the socket, firmly push it bit with even
pressure on the machine.
To remove the socket, firmly pull it off the
machine.
Adjusting the direction of rotation

Switching the machine on and off
WARNING: Ensure fastener and/or system will
withstand the level of torque generated by the
tool.
Excessive torque may cause breakage and
possible personal injury.
WARNING:Do not use regular socket wrench type
sockets;use only those impact wrenchs.
Sockets not designed for impact wrenches could
break and result in personal injury.
Inspect sockets prior to use to ensure that they
have no cracks or other visible damage.
1. Place the accessory on the fastener head.
Keep the tool pointed straight at the fastener.
2. P ressing the on/off switch (8) will activate
the machine, the further the switch is being
pushed, the faster the drill will turn. Releasing
the on/off switch (8) will stop the machine.
Always check torque with a torque wrench,
as the fastening torque is affected by many
factors including the following:
• V oltage: Low voltage, due to a nearly
discharged battery, will reduce fastening
torque.
• A ccessory size: Failure to use the correct
accessory size will cause a reduction in
fastening torque.
• B olt size: Larger bolt diameters generally
require higher fastening torque. Fastening
torque will also vary according to length,
grade, and torque coefficient.
• B olt: Ensure that all threads are free of rust and
other debris to allow proper fastening torque.
• M aterial: The type of material and surface
finish of the material will affect fastening
torque.
• F astening time: Longer fastening time results
in increased fastening torque. Using a longer
fastening time than recommended could
cause the fasteners to be overstressed,
stripped or damaged.
• M ove the direction reversing switch (7) to the
middle position to lock the movement of the
on/off switch. It cannot be activated in this
position.
Only lay down the machine when it has
stopped running completely. Do not
place it on a dusty surface as particles of
dust could get into the mechanism.
