10. Maintenance
10.1 Wire replacement
• Switch off the device, unplug the mains plug from the socket and let the device cool down for approx. 5 minutes.
Pressing in the pin
• Loosen the wire tensioner at the upper of the cutting bow and detach the wire.
• Guide the new wire, which is cut to length, over the upper wire guide roll and attach it to the upper of the spring. At the bottom, attach
the wire to the attachment lug provided.
• Tension the wire tensioner again until it engages.

10.2 Care
• Clean the device with a slightly moist cloth only ensuring that the device is switched off and has cooled down.
• Do not spray maintenance and/or lubricating oils, greases or similar into the ball bearing slides!
• If the ball bearing slides no longer run freely and easily, switch off the device, disconnect the mains plug and let the
device cool down for approx. 5 min.
• Then spray clean the ball bearing slides with brake cleaner to remove the accumulated dirt.
• Let the ball bearing slides to dry for a sufficient period of time until the brake cleaner has evaporated. While this is
happening, move the cutting bow back and forward through its full stroke.
