After the Vertiga is connected to the hydronic system, it is important to vent the Vertiga in the manner described:
– switch off the circulation pump, ensure that the lockshield and the thermostatic valve (or flow valve) are closed.
– Open the lockshield.
– Open the air vent and vent, close the air vent. Do this for both sides.
– Close the lockshield.
– Open the thermostatic valve (or flow valve).
– Open the air vent and vent, close the air vent. Do this for both sides.
– Open the lockshield.
– Open the air vent and vent, close the air vent. Do this for both sides.
– switch on the circulation pump.
– Open the air vent and vent, close the air vent. Do this for both sides.
– Check whether both heat exchangers get sufficiently warm, taking into account the flow temperature. If this is the
case, the venting is complete. If not go through this procedure again.
Note: if you experience air in the hydronic system regularly, it is advisable to install automatic air vents. Otherwi-
se, a good functioning of the radiator cannot be guaranteed.
