5. Transport, housing
5.1 Transportation of the machine
The net weight of this machines is about 16 kg. The total weight of this machine must be ensured before
handling. It is better to handle and transport this machine with the help of lifting tools.
5.2 Minimum requirements for housing the machine
Be sure to provide sufficient light for operation according to the codes or regulations published for local area.
The minimum light intensity should be 300 Lux.
5.3 Using the machine
"Start": Push the switch marked "|".
"Stop": Push the switch marked "O".
5.4 Noise level
The machine has a noise level of appr. 80 dB (A). In very special occasions, it is possible that the noise level
is higher. Wear, if necessary, ear protection.
5.5 Overload protection
In case of overload, the protection has to be reset. Proceed as follows:

Tilt the machine and remove the bottom plate to make the thermic relay accessible.

Push the reset button and install the bottom plate.

After a cooling-off period of several minutes, the machine will be able to start again
6. Connecting to the power source
6.1 Electrical connection
Warning
The machine should be connected to the power source by a qualified electrician.
The connection, disconnection and grounding are carried out through the plug, equipped on the grinder. For
safety reasons, do not change this plug into another type in any situation.
For the protection of the control device, it is recommended to supply a fuse with 16A. The total length between
the fuse and the connection terminal should not exceed 1.5 m.
Check if the electrical specifications of the motor correspond to those of the power source, before you connect
the machine to the mains.
Warning
Check that the power switch is in position "Off" before (dis)connecting the machine to the
power source.
6.2 Disconnecting the machine
The disconnection is carried out by a hand-operated disconnecting device.
Be sure to disconnect the machine from the power source, when the machine is not used, when performing
maintenance or when adjusting the machine.
