• Do not store the appliance immediately after use. Wait until it is completely cool before storing.
• For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA
in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

USE
What to do before fi rst use:
• Remove the packaging material and inspect the device for damage.
• Do not operate the device if it is damaged in any way. Return it to your seller immediately.
• Only connect the appliance to a mains socket with the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate.
• When disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet, pull only on the plug. Never pull on the cord.
• During the fi rst few minutes of the fi rst use, you may notice a little smoke and a slight smell. This is normal and will soon disappear.
• Be aware that some surfaces may become hot. Do not touch and supervise others accordingly. The unit is VERY HOT when in use. Take care to
avoid contact between the hot surface and bare skin, particularly around the ears, face and neck when in use.
INTENDED USE
Warning! Only use the device externally.
• The appliance is only intended for drying and styling human hair.
• Any improper use can be dangerous!
• For best results, wash, comb and dry hair until just damp to touch – although the hair straightener can be used for touch ups at any time. Do
not use hairspray or other fl ammable chemical hair care products.
• Fully unwind the mains cable , and plug the straightener into the mains socket and switch on the product.
• Wait for 3 -5 minutes to allow the appliance to reach its working temperature.
• Divide hair into manageable sections and clip the upper layers on top of your head and out of the way. Work with underneath layer fi rst.
• Take a small section of hair and pull hair down and away from your scalp and hold it taut.
• Starting the roots, clamp hair fi rmly between the plates and run the straightener down the entire hair strand, from root to tip, in one smooth
stroke. Do not hold it in one area for a long period of time.
• Repeat with all the sections of your hairs.
• When you are fi nishing styling, slide the on/off switch to turn the unit off , unplug the unit and allow it to completely cool down before
cleaning or storing.
