Do not use the hair trimmer to cut artificial hair.
• The USB charging cable must not come into contact with water or other liquids as this may cause electric shock. Therefore, never
use the hair trimmer over a filled sink or while having a bath.
• lf the trimmer falls into water, immediately pull the mains adaptor out of the wall socket. Please do not wash the trimmer with water.
• WARNING: Keep the trimmer and the USB charging cable dry.
• For your children' s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
• Unplug the trimmer if you do not plan to use it for a long time, or if the trimmer malfunctions during use, also during
thunderstorms and when cleaning.
• Do not wash the trimmer body or power adaptor with water or expose them to water as this may create a risk of electric shock or
short circuit.
• The power adaptor must be pulled out of the mains socket before maintenance is carried out, otherwise there is a risk of electric
shock.

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
• Charging the rechargeable battery before first use, the hair trimmer must be fully charged.
• Make sure the trimmer is turned off.
• Insert the connector of the USB charging cable into the bottom of the trimmer base at the position where the trimmer can be
stored or insert directly into the power jack of the trimmer. Normal charging will take 8 hours. The maximum shaving time is 45
minutes with a full charge.
• Plug the USB charging cable into a mains adaptor and plug it into a mains socket. The indicator light will come on to indicate
charging. It will not go out when the battery is fully charged. You cannot remove the battery.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turn off your trimmer and wait until it is completely cool. Before cleaning, remove the accessory and the used blade and clean with
the aid of the cleaning brush that was fitted in the product.
• Clean your hair trimmer using a damp cloth and then dry it. After each use, follow the instructions to replace the blades of your
hair trimmer.
• To keep the trimmer working properly, oil it with the oil supplied regularly.
• Put the trimmer blades (1) in downward position, dispense 1 or 2 oil drops across the blade. Whipe the excess oil so it does not run
into the motor compartment. Oil in the motor compartment will lead to poor motor performance.
