Use

CAUTION!
❐ CAUTION: Danger of burns! The device will become very hot during
use. Make absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with any heated
parts during and after use of the device. Use the pizza peels or other suitable
kitchen implements and kitchen gloves when you want to add or remove food.
Steam escapes from the ventilation slots during use. Make sure that you do not come into
contact with the steam. Be careful when opening the lid as hot air or hot steam may escape
from the container.
❐ Ensure that there is suffi cient ventilation while the device is in operation.
❐ Ensure that the food you wish to prepare does not touch the heating elements inside the
device. The pizza must not be bigger than the grill plates (approx. 28 cm).
❐ Do not place food wrapped in cling fi lm or plastic bags into the device.
❐ Do not leave the device switched on for longer than 10 minutes without any contents.
The pizza oven is also a great way to make toasted sandwiches, bread rolls and little
snacks.
Cooking times are dependent on the size and quantity of the food and on the
cooking temperature. Start with shorter cooking times and then adjust the cooking
times to refl ect your own personal taste. Test whether your food is cooked through
evenly before you consume it (especially in the case of frozen products).
1. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant, fl at surface a suffi cient distance away from fl am-
mable objects.
2. Place one of the grill plates supplied onto the rotating mechanism in the middle of the lower
shell. Make sure that the grill plate fi ts well and cannot slip.
3. Unwind the mains cable and insert the plug into a properly installed 220 - 240 volt socket
with earthing contacts.
4. Turn the temperature controller to the maximum level (3), shut the lid and allow the device
to heat up for approx. 10 minutes.
5. Pour a small amount of oil or fat onto the grill plate before you place the pizza onto it.
6. Close the lid and set the cooking time you want (from 1 - 60 minutes) on the time controller.
The device is switched on, the "Power" control lamp lights up and the motor starts.
7. Set the temperature you want on the temperature controller. The device starts to heat up
and the "Heat" control lamp lights up.
8. As soon as the set temperature has been reached, the heating element will switch off and
the "Heat" control lamp will go out. To maintain the temperature which is set, the heating
element automatically switches itself on and off during operation.
9. When the set time has elapsed, a signal is heard and the device switches itself off. Both con-
trol lamps will go out.
The cooking time and temperature can be changed during operation. If you want to
stop the baking process before the set time has elapsed, turn the time controller to 0.
