• The maximum total load of both USB ports is 2.1 A. The current consumption of the connected device(s) must not
exceed this value.
• If the product turns off automatically due to an error, perform the following steps to reset it: Disconnect it from
the cigarette lighter, remove the SD card (if inserted) and unplug all USB devices and auxiliary devices. Plug the
product back into the cigarette lighter to complete the reset process. If the product overheated before it switched
off, let it cool down before using it again.
You can use the product when the engine is on or off. However, avoid starting the engine while the product
is connected, as this may briefly cut off the power supply to the cigarette lighter (this may not apply to all
vehicle models). Using the product for prolonged periods when the engine is switched off may discharge
the vehicle battery.
b) Playing music
You can use the transmitter to play music through your car's speakers.
• Insert the cigarette lighter plug (1) into your car's cigarette lighter socket.
• Insert a compatible SD card into the SD card slot (2) and/or insert a USB storage device (e.g. USB stick) into one
of the USB ports.
• Connect an external audio source (e.g. a portable CD player with an analogue output) to the 3.5 mm jack socket
using the 3.5 mm auxiliary cable provided.
• If desired, connect another USB device (e.g. mobile device) to the other USB port. You can play compatible audio
files from any of the three inputs. Playback will start automatically when a device is detected.
• To switch to another audio source (USB storage device, microSD card or analogue input), press and hold the play/
pause button (7).
• Select a suitable reception frequency on your car radio (ideally a frequency without a strong signal from a radio
station). Select the same frequency on the transmitter. For details on how to change the reception frequency, refer
to the instructions that came with your car radio.
• To set the frequency on the transmitter, press and hold the rewind or fast-forward buttons (6). The frequency will
flash on the LCD display (4). Release the rewind/fast-forward button and press it again to decrease/increase the
transmission frequency from 87.5 - 108.0 MHz.
c) Controlling audio playback
• Do not allow the volume on your car radio to exceed 18, otherwise the sound may be distorted.
• The selected frequency is indicated on the LCD display. Press and hold the play/pause button (7). "SO" and the
track number will be displayed alternately.
• Press and hold the rewind or fast-forward button (6) to skip between tracks.
• Press the play/pause button to pause playback. The "II" symbol will appear on the LCD display (4). Press the play/
pause button again to continue playback.
The transmitter automatically remembers the most recent transmission frequency and audio track. When
you turn the transmitter on, playback resumes from the same track on the same transmission frequency.
