7. Using the product
a) USB power supply and charging USB devices
Ensure that the connection specifications for your mobile device comply with the connection data
for the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions that came with your mobile device.
Do not short-circuit the USB ports.
• Insert the cigarette lighter plug (1) into your car's 12 V/DC cigarette lighter. The LCD display (4) will turn on when
the transmitter is supplied with power.
• If the LCD display does not turn on, you may need to turn on the ignition.
• Insert the USB plug on your 5 V USB device into one of the USB ports (3). You can connect a second device to
the other USB port.
