Set the DMX starting address with the DIP switches 1-8.
Every DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called starting address so that it can be uniquely
targeted by the DMX controller.
This starting address is defined by the DIP switches 1-8. Each DIP switch is assigned a value.
The total of these values then defines the starting address. The starting address determines the
first DMX channel; the second DMX channel is the channel following the starting address, etc.

Example:
DIP switches 1, 3 and 5 are set to "ON", all other switches are set to "OFF"
Starting address = 1 + 4 + 16 = 21
The device requires 7 DMX channels. This means that if the starting address is set as 1, the starting
address of the next DMX device in the DMX chain must be set to 8 or more.
The table on the next page provides information on the effects of the values for the individual DMX channels.
