The radio tower symbol shows how strong the DCF-signal is being received.
The more dashes are visible, the stronger the signal. If you do not see any
current time in the display of the projection radio alarm clock after 16 minutes,
place it in a different location. Then briefly push the button "RCC" (B2) in the
battery compartment of the projection radio alarm clock to restart the DCF
reception attempt. Alternatively, the time and date can be set manually.
b) Manually setting time and date
If there is no DCF signal, the clock and date can also be set manually.
If the time or date are adjusted manually, DCF reception is deactivated auto-
matically.
• Keep the button "TIME" (A5) pushed for approx. 2 seconds until the display for the
12h/24h mode flashes.
• Set the 12h/24h-mode with the buttons "+/CHANNEL" (A7) and "-/MEM" (A8).
In 12h mode, "AM" is displayed to the left of the time during the first half of the day,
"PM" during the second half of the day.
• Briefly push the button "TIME" (A5); the display for the hours. Set it with the buttons
"+/CHANNEL" (A7) and "-/MEM" (A8).
Keeping the respective button down for some time will adjust them quick-
ly. This also applies when setting minutes, year, month, date, time zone and
language. If you do not push any button for about 30 seconds, the projection
alarm clock saves all input and leaves the setting mode automatically. If you
want to leave setting mode early, keep the button "TIME" (A5) pushed for
about 2 seconds.
• Briefly push the button "TIME" (A5) to switch to setting of the minutes. Set it with the
buttons "+/CHANNEL" (A7) and "-/MEM" (A8).
• Briefly push the button "TIME" (A5), to set the year. Use the buttons "+/CHANNEL"
(A7) and "-/MEM" (A8) again.
• Briefly push the button "TIME" (A5) again; the setting of the date display will flash.
Use the buttons "+/CHANNEL" (A7) and "-/MEM" (A8) to set whether the day or the
month is to be displayed first in the date.
• Briefly push the button "TIME" (A5) to switch to setting of the month. Set it with the
buttons "+/CHANNEL" (A7) and "-/MEM" (A8) again.
