2. Directions For Use
2.1 Slacken The Rope
Make sure that the safety hook and
rope sheave are anchored to a sturdy
point. Press the release spring down
in the direction of the arrow A.
Lift the lever up and hold in position
C, then press the locking hook down
in the direction of the arrow D; at the
same time pulling until the rope is
slackened.
2.2 Tauten The Rope
By pressing the release spring in the direction of the arrow B, link release hook into the rack wheel.
Now tauten the rope by lifting the rope up and away.
2.3 Reducing The Tension On The Rope
Press release spring down in direction of the arrow A. Keep the lever pressed down until the release hook presses the
locking hook upwards and releases it; the rack wheel is now free and is loosened by one revolution. Repeat this step as
described in order to reduce the tension by one revolution each time.
WARNING: Avoid abrupt movements of the level when reducing the tension on the rope.
Exert steady, even pressure on the lever!
