9. COMMISSIONING
The included type K temperature sensor is essential for operation. The remote
sensor features an internal temperature sensor, but this internal sensor is only used
for compensation. The displayed measured values are only reliable, if the type K
temperature sensor is connected.
At the side of the remote sensor are two connection holes with which you need to
connect the connection plugs of the temperature sensor.
When the temperature sensor cable is to be placed, e.g. through a window, ensure that
the cable is not damaged by sharp edges!
As soon as you insert the batteries into the remote sensor and the base station the pairing
will start automatically. For information regarding manual pairing read the chapter "Pairing".
a) Remote Sensor Commissioning
1. Open the battery compartment (20) on the backside of the remote sensor by sliding down the
battery compartment cover.
